Your Turning Points - when enough is enough...

I first met this amazing gentleman at a recent TEDx event organized by my mentor Tansel Ali. Mr Leigh Bundy has an amazing story to tell in his inspiring TEDx speech which left me wanting to know more. On 28 March 2019, Leigh very generously made time for me the second time to do an interview talking about his major TURNING POINTS that led to where he is today.

Jia Jiang is a US-based entrepreneur who came from Beijing, China. Jia Jiang's greatest fear is being rejected. This fear had prevented him from realising his truest potential.  One day, he decided to eradicate his inhibiting fear and today he has become a champion against the fear of rejection. If you have not heard of his story yet, now is the time. 

Jon Jandai grew up in the rural village in the Northeastern part of Thailand. He was told that poor village kids should go get a 'proper' education and work in a 'good job' in Bangkok. So, he went to Bangkok. Years later, he realised that Bangkok did not give him the life he had been promised. So, he decided to follow his heart and relocated back to his home village and felt that life could have not been better. Listen to Jon's story here as told by the man himself. My student said he should not try to escape the harshness of city life by going back to his village. My student's 24 years old. Do we really have to wait till we're in our 40s to realise that reality is what we make of it? Here's another insightful talk by Jon Jandai.
